FIMD (DK): Walking care-freely through troubles (20min)<\/strong>
\nSolo, Dancer: Sissel Phul Stauersb\u00f8l. Choreographer Paulina Rewucka, in collaboration with Sissel and Artistic Director Janne Weidinger. Music designer: Dave Black<\/p>\n

This work is about chosen solitude and feelings which occur in the realm between a child and becoming a grown up. It is an attempt to approach the rollercoaster of a lifetime.<\/p>\n

\u201cNumber 1 girl.\u00a0<\/span>The pump is out of order.\u00a0<\/span>These hands are made for walking.\u00a0<\/span>Is there anything you would wanna say to your surroundings or to the world if you would have space and they would listen?\u00a0<\/span>No matter what you\u2019re going through, it’s gonna get better at some point. Well\u2026 we\u2019ve all gone through something tough before but you will find your way again.\u00a0<\/span>What do you say when I say fan-club?\u00a0<\/span>K-pop. Korea\u2026\u00a0<\/span>\u2026here I come!\u00a0<\/span>Stay yourself. Don\u2019t care too much what other people say. Don\u2019t change for other people.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Kris Lenzo (USA): Method (4min)<\/strong>
\nFrom Choreographer Julia Cox- As I began working with Kris for the first time, I noticed how different we were in how we think and move when it comes to dance. So I learned how to adapt to his method of moving and learning, hence the name, \u201cMethod.\u201d It was a great learning experience and working with someone so athletic who is also a wheelchair user. I helped create this piece with both our methods of creative process.<\/p>\n

Kaos Company: Sister, I can feel it in my bones (Finland) (45min)<\/strong>
\n“Talking about the floor, I just realised, you know, like, people are always saying if you fall you\u2019re going to break your bones, which is obvious.”
\nSister, I can feel it in bones is an autobiographical, comedic and occasionally serious work by two performers. The performance travels into a rich world of laughter, wisdom and the desire to be at peace as part of the spectrum of life, as one’s self.
\n“We are small like diamonds.”
\nSister, I can feel it in my bones is performed by dancer, actress Christelle Dreyer from South Africa and dance artist Noora V\u00e4stinen from Finland.
\nThe performance is directed by dance and theatre artist Jonna Lehto.
