KATRAS is a performance group started by Sally Davison in 2021 (thanks to funding from the Kone Foundation). The goal was to create a small group that would be ready to perform regularly in various places and spaces in Finland.
Katras usually consists of four dancers: Kadar Khristan, Siiri Tiilikka, Jonna Lehto and Georgie Goater. Sally Davison and Noora Västinen have also performed with the group.
The performances during 2021-22 took place in various cities in Finland and in collaboration with festivals. The performances were held in both theaters and public spaces, with the aim of giving visibility to dance in different contexts and interacting widely with different audiences.
