Description

Join Jonna Lehto and Lauren Sheely for this playful workshop exploring the body as a site for comedic possibility. Participants will be led through a series of explorations to investigate the comedic potential of dance improvisation utilizing the body as a starting point. We will then begin to utilize our improvisations to develop movement and gestural phrases, with the potential of collaborating together in different combinations. Our goal is to create a space for participants to consider the bodies as material for comedy, giving permission to improvise with curiosity and lightness.
